Dehydrogenative coupling of silanes with alcohols catalyzed by Cu3(BTC)2.
نویسندگان
چکیده
Cu3(BTC)2 is an efficient and reusable heterogeneous catalyst for the dehydrogenative coupling of silanes with alcohols. Activity data and CO adsorption suggest that Cu(II) and in situ generated Cu(I) are the active species. Other MOFs such as Fe(BTC), MIL-101(Cr) and UiO-66(Zr) are unable to promote this cross-coupling.

Conformational rigidity of silicon-stereogenic silanes in asymmetric catalysis: A comparative study
In recent years, cyclic silicon-stereogenic silanes were successfully employed as stereoinducers in transition metal-catalyzed asymmetric transformations as exemplified by (1) the hydrosilylation of alkenes constituting a chirality transfer from silicon to carbon and (2) the kinetic resolution of racemic mixtures of alcohols by dehydrogenative silicon-oxygen coupling. In this investigation, a c...

The copper-catalyzed tandem oxidative cyclization of cinnamamides with benzyl hydrocarbons through the direct cross-dehydrogenative coupling of sp(3) and sp(2) C-H bonds has been developed. Satisfactorily, ethers, alcohols and alkanes could also be used instead of benzyl hydrocarbons in this transformation, which allows rapid access to diverse dihydroquinolinones in one step.

A novel, one-step synthesis of substituted pyridine- and quinoline-derivatives was achieved by acceptorless dehydrogenative coupling of γ-aminoalcohols with secondary alcohols. The reaction involves consecutive C-N and C-C bond formation, catalyzed by a bipyridyl-based ruthenium pincer complex with a base.
متن کاملRu-catalyzed dehydrogenative coupling of carboxylic acids and silanes - a new method for the preparation of silyl ester
Ru(3)(CO)(12)/EtI has been found to be an efficient catalyst system for the dehydrosilylation of carboxylic acids with silanes. In the presence of 1 mol% Ru(3)(CO)(12) and 4 mol% EtI, dehydrosilylation reactions in toluene afforded the corresponding silyl esters at 100 degrees C in good and high yields.
متن کاملSugar silanes: versatile reagents for stereocontrolled glycosylation via intramolecular aglycone delivery† †Electronic supplementary information (ESI) available: Experimental details and copies of NMR spectra. See DOI: 10.1039/c5sc00810g
A new method for the intramolecular glycosylation of alcohols is described. Utilizing carbohydrate-derived silanes, the catalytic dehydrogenative silylation of alcohols is followed by intramolecular glycosylation. Appropriate combinations of silane position and protecting groups allow highly selective access to β-manno, α-gluco, or β-gluco stereochemical relationships as well as 2-azido-2-deoxy...
